On a New Project

Im back on track on plastic models =D

It's been a long time since I've finished my previous model (MG Astray Gundam Blue Frame 2nd Revise) and I missed constructing models A LOT. Kits by Bandai over the past 6 months failed to catch my interest. But at last, a kit I've been waiting for has arrived this morning *squeal*

U know what sucks?Our market. We don't have anything decent in the market (at least locally) for proper modeling. I have to wait for 1 month for this kit upon release in Japan. Why the f*ck (WTF) is it so slow for everything to arrive in our shores?

Well, the elders say not to be greedy. At least they do arrive, rite?

Saw a shop selling chinaman-made model kits yesterday when I went to watch Grown Ups(it was great). It's cheap, might be decent. But somehow, I felt sad. Why must my motherland always produce fake stuffs?Don't they have at least some creative people in that over-populated land?Now they're trying to produce counterfeit N8 too. Nokla N8. Hell, even people in HK aren't allowed to browse around the high-end designer brands anymore (LV, Gucci, Versace etc2) coz they're worried of chances of their designs MASS PRODUCED by Renmimbi-Land. I'm getting really off topic now. Back to the topic. =b

So for now, this is the project I'll be working on for around a week. Anticipating Kamen Rider W Cyclone Accel Xtreme (please release that kit!I'll be all over it). And my first PG Strike Freedom Gundam in December. hehehehehehehe

Ordered Kenzo Power as my next fragrance. I'm now trying to get my hands on Beats by Dr. Dre Tour Edition. What is so good about that?And it costs a kidney to buy that shit. I'll just have to find out myself =)

Updates + Chanel Allure Homme Sport Review

Ah~~~~it feels good to be able to go online again! Suddenly i feel more alive than the dull days when i have to go to some CC with lame ah bengs swearing and cursing non-stop playing dota.

Things have been rough lately, waiting for results of stuffs very important to u is a very painful experience. Well, for now i can only wish for the best. *Pray with joss stick every single day* wtf

Got sick a few days back, now i still cough like a fucking idiot who got a dick stuck in his throat (yes im coughing that badly) Still, it's good news that it's not anything serious.

oh~i got a dooodoll! yeah, i like plush toys, that dont make me a faggot, u dickhead looking fugly motherfuckers, tell it in my face, just dont mess with the wrong motherfucker, motherfuckers.

Smelt C.Dior Dune for Man lately, got a very good impression about it. Might get one..hehehehe

On to the review, i just got this fragrance a few months back and i was taking my time wearing and sniffing it out. It turned out well and seriously this is THE ONE i always grab on to whenever i cant decide which one to wear. So that means this stuff is just great. Very sleek bottle and beautiful cap. Great presentation by Chanel.

It opens up with a fresh, citrus vibe; very lemony in particular. No, it doesn't smell like cheap lemon scents u get from air fresheners, car fragrances etc etc. Chanel is well known for their quality ingredients in fragrances, and this lemon smells very much pleasant. Leaves a very good scent trail too.

The opening scent stays for several hours (the scent with the longest opening period in my humble collection) and then it dies down to a very sexy yet sophisticated vibe. I get a lot of musk from the dry down. One thing for sure, the dry down is very close to the skin, people need to be very close to u to smell the dry down, and i think the dry down smells great too. I get at least 8 hours out in the heat rocking this out. Not very strong in the air con since it's a summer fragrance, still it can grab some attention. Silage is not THE best in the fragrance game, but it does the job. A fragrance that smells fresh, yet sexy and sophisticated, lasts a period of time and gives out a good projection, what more can u expect from a fragrance? This is perfect for day wear, not bad for work and i think it's more of a casual scent which u can use as a signature scent coz chances of u smelling like someone else is less as Chanel has a higher price tag for their fragrances (some people might consider this as not a very smart buy, well it works well for me). Well again, the idea is to smell good, not to smell like somebody's loser ex-bf who was all foreskin and no D*** (u get the gist of it).

Chanel seems to have caught my attention to get more of their fragrances. Im considering getting Chanel Platinum Egoiste, and the original Allure Homme next. *wink* Moving on to the rating, this babe's got a very good rating from me coz i personally like this most.

Scent: 10/10
Projection: 6/10
Longevity: 8/10
Versatility: 10/10

Overall: 10/10

Forgive my rating system, this is not based on calculating the average score of scent, projection and longevity. =) so if u're good in maths, it doesn't mean that u can use it in my rating system xD

Haven't been much active online lately,
lemme explain, i've got much to do, work experience application, job application, continuing to work my scholarship stuffs out and not forgetting playing my PSP *swt wtf*

well, looking at my current condition, being able to access the INTERNET is THE MOST IMPORTANT factor to complete my stuffs

well, here's the case, my dad applied for an upgrade of bandwidth and also wireless connection.
they told me and my dad it will only take a week or two

well, it's been 3 damn weeks and they just only started the process for the application.

and im left without any fucking connection to the internet (sayonara facebook, new music and MY SERIOUS MATTERS)

i don't understand why are the so damn slow in working out the paperworks. do they type with only their index fingers? OMFG i can't believe how slow they're working

Review: Thierry Mugler Angel Men Pure Malt

I promised a review on Chanel Allure Homme Sport, but im not done with it yet, still some areas to explore on that. But i have something that i've been working on for a long time and today, i will be reviewing the infamous Pure Malt by Thierry Mugler fragrance house.

Okay then, on to the fragrance; this is actually a limited edition flanker to the original Angel Men or A*Men. What they did with this was they actually put the original A*Men into oak casks used to age Whiskey (Yes, u got it right, Whiskey oak casks where the liquor is left to age into perfection for a period of time before entering the tummy of the filthy rich drunkards)

And it resulted in this very sophisticated, dark and rich version of A*Men. Right off the bat, this scent smells like a mix of wild berries and whiskey poured all over the wild berries. First thing's first when i say whiskey, i dont mean the smell of alcohol (coz alcohol smells bad). When i say whiskey, it means the flavor of the whiskey which makes whiskey tastes like whiskey (hope u get the gist of it). The opening very much smells boozy, with the cherries and a little bit of caramel which normally lasts for around 30 minutes to 1 hour.

When it gets to the dry down, this is where it shines. The dry down is absolutely fascinating with chocolate, caramel, patchouli and whiskey notes (i do get a lil bit of coffee sometimes). It smells very sweet, dark and i must say very very sophisticated. If there's one word i'd say for the dry down, it's SEXY. I don't know if many girls would love the sweet dry down, but if they do, this will definitely work for them. For me, i think the dry down is great and when i first smelled it, i went like this:

*The chocolate and caramel is just very natural and very well balanced. I can smell it all day and not get sick of it coz it's does not smell synthetic and cheap

U don't get a lot of people using this scent, so u have a lower chance of smelling like someone's ex bf (which is not good if u set ur eyes on some hot chick and ended up smelling like her loser ex bf). Events?This shit is a winter fragrance, so i would recommend using it at night where it's not so hot and humid out there. It's good for a night out, club, beach, pubs, casual meetings, prom, dates and when u just go for a walk and cuddling session at the park with your girl. It might sound very versatile, but this thing is a BOMB! So please go light on the trigger (that is, if u can still find a bottle of this coz the stock is dwindling, hehehehehehehehe...it sells for around 150-200USD at ebay now). I would say 2 sprays at most at the torso and one on each arm when u're outside. When u're indoors, only resort to 2 sprays on the torso. You DONT wanna cloy everybody in the room and having people thinking like:
'WTF is this dimwit wearing!he's cloying me to death smelling like he just dipped his ass into a caramel chocolate pond'

Girls do compliment on it though, but again, don't over-spray coz too much of a good thing can be bad. =D

If u're confident that the chicks around u love smelling caramel and chocolate (which chick don't?unless she used to be a dude).

So let's just take a final look at it before moving on to the ratings:

Scent: 9/10
Projection: 10/10 (this is a BOMB!it leaps out and catches attention very much, especially in warm places)
Longevity: 10/10 (i get at least 10 hours with this monster)
Versatility: 6/10 (u don't get to wear this everywhere coz of the strong projection)
Overall Smell: 10/10 (absolutely unique scent, very special and attractive)

An Introduction to Fragrances

I believe that each fragrance is produced for different purposes, office, night out, cuddling moments, high-class exclusive events, sports, casual wear, whatever. Some can make girls go bananas over you (and guys too, but they might be some homo fags) and vice versa. Or, some will scare away chicks (those old teacher's scent, grandfather scent, get-u-smelling-like-a-bug-spray scent, kit-leng kia scents).

I'm not much of a true fragrance collector as I only collect fragrances that suits my liking. I don't have much for now, but I'm sure I'll be getting more in the future (YSL La Nuit De L'homme and Creed Green Irish Tweed is next on the list).

An introduction to you people who are new to fragrances, first of all, I must insist that these fragrances do serve it's purpose as long as you pick them up carefully with lots of research. You can get a lot of information and reviews on sites such as Basenotes.

Moving on to the type of fragrances, there are several common types which are gourmand (sweet scents), aquatics, green, oriental, citrus and so much more in the market. Talking about market, the fragrances you get to see at Parkson, Tangs, Takashimaya, Metrojaya in most of the malls around Malaysia are Designer fragrances. Designer houses are those clothing brands such as Chanel, Versace, DKNY, FCUK, YSL, Dunhill, Elizabeth Arden, Burberry, C.Dior, CK, and the list goes on (u get the gist of it). Which means that these fragrances are mass produced by the designer brands to suit their designs, occasions and whatever shit events they have in mind. Next there's the 'supermarket fragrances' (well that's the way I label them as) are those brands like Enchanteur(whichever the way they spell it, idk), Playboy, Adidas, Dashing etc2 are cheaper ones with (of course) cheaper smelling scents. Finally, there's the niche fragrances, produced by companies that only produces fragrances ie, Creed, Le Labo, Bond No.9, etc. If you want natural scents, strange scents, out of Earth scents, they do produce them, it's just that you gotta go search for it all over since the local fragrance market is not as vast as the foreign market. But these do come with a price. =)

Owh, there's also the RM10 stuffs labeled designer fragrances (cap ayam, cap itik, cap belalang fragrances). These are the most annoying ones as they last an hour and you gotta reapply them when they fade away (and they smell really fake).

Well, some of you might say this:

'Teehehehehehe..i'll just buy the cheapos and wear them, as long as i think i smell good, who cares wtf im wearing!F*ck u jack!Go on with your expensive shits like an idiot!i can get the same scents cheap. 'Mengapa Bayar Lebih?Belilah dgn harga borong!'

Well, they might be cheap, but who knows what these nutjobs put in those products. Think for urself, have those China-made Nikki, Neki, Pooma, Leepok, Panesonic, Sonny, Nokla stuffs out perform the originals?
